GOOD NEWS: WATER FUNDS BOOSTED
We are delighted to have received a £2000 boost to our borehole funding bringing current ring-fenced funding for this project to £8000.
We need £14,000.
FOOD AID
Food Aid TEN is underway as rains begin but keep failing.
Some villagers have sown their crops but lost the seedlings during the current heatwave.
Others are waiting until later in December.
If the rains come, there will be food in March.
We continue to send roughly £300 monthly, prices rise regularly, cornmeal (mealiemeal) is now having to be imported.
Our merchant is supplying us at cost price.
