5000l JOJO and workmen
We are pleased to announce that phase 1 of our project, sinking a borehole for the village, has now been implemented and we thank our many generous supporters who have helped make this possible.
Phase 2 will bring lifesaving water and a future to this marginalised village, improving health and allowing diversification and the opportunity of self-support in times of climate change and food shortages.
Without water, the future is grim. The borehole is sited between two areas that make up the village where a good water source was divined.
Phase 2 will see installation of pipework, pumps, tanks and solar panels to bring the water to those homesteads.
To complete the project, we need to raise approximately an additional £4,500 and very much hope you can help us do this.
